New construction designer's home in the Mount Vernon area of Fairfax County, Virginia.  This project employs sustainable design features, such as home scale, location, solar orientation, passive house features, energy-efficient windows and doors, Energy Star roofing, tankless water heaters, high-efficiency HVAC systems, LED lighting, natural ventilation, daylighting, thoughtful material selection with recycled content and no VOC paints and adhesives.  ALine Architecture was in charge of design, construction drawings, permitting, and construction management.
