Plaskett Lane Office Building

Located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a residential area—an unusual location for a mixed-use building—the Plaskett Lane Building project required the construction of a 3-story building in Lorton, VA.  Having worked with the owners since 2012, ALine Architecture was able to help them realize their vision for the use, the design also the location of this new building.  

 

ALine Architecture conducted several different feasibility studies based on different types of user groups. The building’s exterior reflected the residential scale and materials by incorporating brick and EIFS. The design included light gauge and structural steel systems, an elevator, sprinkler system, accessible bathrooms, lighting including HVAC.
