Jefferson Dr. Property Renovation

The residential project on Jefferson Dr. required renovating an existing townhome’s interior as well as constructing a small addition. For this project, Aline Architecture’s goal was to create an integrating and fitting by-right addition that would be both structurally and functionally sound while staying within the homeowner’s established budget.
 

Building the addition and opening up the existing masonry wall, it was essential to the project to reconfigure the structural support of the second-floor framing to support the new open concept floor plan. The engineered support of the addition and second story framing, made possible the expansion of the living room and kitchen areas on the main floor.  This project also included the design of an additional bedroom and bathroom on the lower level. Keeping resale and long-term use in mind, ALine Architecture also upgraded the home’s electrical service, HVAC, and plumbing as well as updated interior and exterior finishes.
