Awarehouse  - Arlington, VA

Our client envisioned a holistic sanctuary dedicated to personal awareness and community health. The design included several specialized areas: a multipurpose room, sauna, cold plunge, infrared bed, accessible restrooms, and showers. Our mission was to bring this vision to life through innovative design, code compliance, engineering, and expert permit facilitation.

 

The interiors represent the Awarehouse branding.  Colors and materials are carefully selected to create an aesthetic, calming, and visual appeal and serve the purpose of wet, dry, ice, and steamy environments.  The welcoming reception immediately sparks social interaction. The glass partitions flood the space with light, and the openness of the storefront animates the public sidewalks.   The space harmoniously connects the concepts of softness, toughness, and fluidity through the wood, glass, and concrete materials, refreshed by the brisk blue cube sensations, surrounded by white, sage, mint colors, and black accents visuals.
